Hi! I’m Lia, a Cleveland-based product, UX/UI and data visualization designer with more than a decade of experience creating digital products, dashboards, design systems and brand experiences for technology, government and nonprofit organizations.

I trained as a reporter and infographics designer at Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism before studying media research at the University of Colorado Boulder, where my research explored how people build and lose trust in news, social media and digital experiences.

That research eventually brought me full circle to design, where I’ve found that visual communication is one of the most powerful signals of credibility and trust. Today, I bring that perspective to UX strategy, data visualization, visual design, branding and human-computer interaction.
